Return labels that don’t gouge you.
USPS scan-based return labels built into WooCommerce. Know the cost before you send. Only pay when the customer actually ships the package.

Stop losing money on unused labels
Most return label tools charge you before the customer ships. We don’t.
Traditional return label services bill you the moment you generate the label — even if the customer never ships the package. With scan-based billing, you’re only charged when USPS physically scans it. No scan, no charge.

Built for WooCommerce
Everything you need to process returns in one plugin.
This isn’t a bolt-on SaaS pointed at your site. It reads your WooCommerce product data, lives inside your order admin, and plays nicely with drop-shipping, custom workflows, and high-performance order storage.
FTR / PREVIEW
Know the cost before you send.
See USPS rates across every available service before generating a label, with dimensional-weight warnings and worst-case projections if the customer overpacks. A green/yellow/red risk badge tells you at a glance whether the label is safe, and a recommendation picks the best service — with a ready-to-paste packaging instruction for the customer email.
FTR / DIMS
Passive catalog cleanup as you go.
Parcel dimensions auto-detect from your product data. When they’re missing or look wrong, an inline editor on the order screen fixes them in seconds — tick a checkbox and the correction saves back to the product catalog. Every return quietly cleans your data.
FTR / ROUTES
Built for shops that drop-ship.
Add unlimited return addresses — your warehouse plus one for each dropshipper. Pick the right destination per return, and the customer gets instructions that match. Every label routes where it should.
FTR / EMAIL
One click. Customer has the label.
Generate a label and the customer is automatically emailed the PDF with clear packaging and drop-off instructions — including a maximum box size so they don’t trigger oversized adjustment charges. Lost the email? Re-send from the order screen.
FTR / VERIFY
Trust your labels. Verify when you need to.
A built-in debug panel on every labeled order: fetch live status from EasyPost, confirm the label exists, watch real-time tracking, and void unused labels right from the order screen. Click-to-copy shipment IDs and tracking numbers included.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I really only pay when USPS scans the package?
Yes. Labels are generated through EasyPost with scan-based billing — postage is only charged when USPS physically scans the package into their system. Generate ten labels and only three customers ship? You pay for three.
What’s EasyPost and why do I need it?
EasyPost is the shipping API that connects the plugin to USPS at commercial rates. The account is free, setup takes two minutes, and you pay EasyPost/USPS directly for postage — Gorilla Public adds no markup on top.
What happens if a customer overpacks the return?
The cost preview shows you a worst-case projection before you send, and the customer’s label email specifies a maximum box size. If a carrier adjustment does happen, you’ll see exactly why — the plugin surfaces dimensional-weight risk before the label ever goes out.
Can I refund a label that’s already been generated?
Yes — one-click void from the order screen for any unscanned label. Since billing is scan-based, an unscanned label never cost you anything to begin with.
Does this work with High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS)?
Yes, fully HPOS compatible. It works with both traditional post-based orders and WooCommerce’s high-performance order tables.
Can I use this if I drop-ship some products?
That’s exactly what multi-address support is for. Add a return address per dropshipper, choose the right destination when generating each label, and the customer’s instructions match automatically.
What about UPS, FedEx, and other carriers?
The plugin is built around USPS scan-based return labels, because USPS is the only major carrier offering true scan-based billing on returns — which is the whole cost advantage. For most parcel-sized returns, USPS commercial rates are also the cheapest option.
What’s your refund policy?
There’s a 3-day trial to check out the features and installation before you commit, and you can cancel anytime — the plugin keeps working through your paid year either way.
How do updates work?
Automatically, through the normal WordPress admin — same as any plugin. Your license covers updates and support for the year.
