How much should a small business spend on ads?

Enough to generate readable data, sized to your margins — for most local businesses that starts somewhere in the $500–$2,000/month range on one or two channels, not four. We’d rather you start focused and scale on evidence than spread thin everywhere. And because our fee is flat, recommending a bigger budget earns us nothing — so when we suggest one, it’s because the numbers do.

Which platform is right for my business?

Depends on how your customers buy. Google captures existing demand — people already searching for what you sell — and is usually the first dollar for services and urgent needs. Meta creates demand and retargets interest, strongest for e-commerce and visual products. TikTok reaches younger audiences at low cost if the creative is native. The honest answer is a short conversation about your business, and sometimes the answer is “not that one.”

How fast will I see results?

Google Search can produce leads in the first weeks because it captures people already looking. Meta and TikTok need a testing period — typically 4–8 weeks to find winning creative and let the algorithms learn. Organic social compounds over months. We set expectations per channel up front, and the first month always includes foundation work that pays off for everything after.

Do you require long contracts?

No. A short initial ramp (usually 90 days — this work genuinely takes a testing cycle to prove out), then month to month. We think providers who need 12-month lock-ins are telling you something about their confidence.

What happens to my accounts if we stop working together?

Nothing — they were always yours. Ad accounts, pixels, audiences, creative, and data live under your business from day one, with us added as a manager. When any engagement ends, we hand off cleanly and you keep every bit of history. Any provider who answers this differently is planning your exit to hurt.

Can you just fix our tracking without managing the ads?
